Cafe Libertalia and Java Joe's have formed a new kind of business relationship!!!

Joe Flammini of Java Joe's (formerly located in Poway and Ocean Beach) recently started "co-oping" or "time-sharing" Cafe Libertalia on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, at 6pm.

Joe is now booking in the type of acoustic music performers for which he's become famous in San Diego, as well as offering a full coffee/espresso/frappe bar, desserts and snacks. Joe's staff also serves Cafe Libertalia's computer customers, so that there will be no loss of opportunity or access to the computers or internet.

Here's a little bit of info about Java Joe's...

"Joe Flammini opened the original Java Joe's in 1991 in Poway. A word-of-mouth phenomenon, the intimate, all-ages venue soon outgrew its 49-seat capacity, thanks to such leading area singer-songwriters as Lisa Sanders, John Katchur, Steve Poltz, Gregory Page, Dave Howard, Elizabeth Hummel, a very young Jewel and most recently Jason Mraz.      -George Varga               

During the rest of the week -- all day and evening Mondays-Wednesdays and daytimes on Thursday-Sunday -- Cafe Libertalia will continue to serve you just as we've been doing for the past year or so.  We'll continue to offer computers with high-speed internet access and many other programs; wi-fi for your laptop;  a full coffee/espresso/frappe bar; desserts and snacks, and will remain a resource to a wide variety of local groups for meetings, classes, events, performances, etc. Please contact us for info on the use of our space.
