Cafe Libertalia is considered by many here in San Diego as an “everyday oasis” or a “home-office, away from their home-office”. While here, guests can check their email and surf the web, complete work or school assignments, download music and load it onto their iPods and much more. We offer a spacious setting with multiple computers, Internet access & Wi-Fi access. The front section of our space has now been converted into “Libertalia Micro-Mall”, hosting a variety of vendors, including LeVay Elektrocycles, Conspirazine!, Mises West Library & Bookstore, Hippie Vintage (jewelry, tie-dies, and odds-and-ends) and more coming soon.  Come check them out!

Within the Cafe Libertalia section, in addition to computers, you’ll also find desserts and a full array of coffees and other drinks. You can eat, drink, chat with friends or sit back and relax in the easy-going atmosphere.

And lastly, what really makes Cafe Libertalia unique is our “Libertalia Lounge” – a semi-private space in the cafe designed for a variety of events, classes, meetings — away from espresso machines and blenders.  The lounge is equipped with a digital projector and screen, sound equipment with microphones, and can be configured in a variety of arrangements to suit your needs.

Many different types of groups have made Cafe Libertalia their home for monthly and weekly meetings, simply by scheduling the dates with us. Call us to find out about using the space for your events.

In addition to these events organized by outside groups, we offer several recurring events, such as… Monday evening Austrian Economics study group; Wednesdays’ Comedy on the Crest, improv comedy with Comedy Under Construction; a Jazz Jam every Thursday; live music and/or stand-up comedy performances on Fridays and Saturdays, and Sunday evenings’ Open Mic.

Please check our events page for the schedule. If you’re interested in scheduling an event – contact us.
